That's a wonderful shot, great contrast, and the clouds seem almost painted upon the orange sky, yet they don't seem artificial.

That's a nice shot of the viaduct as well as Millau. We usually whiz by, but sometime I'd like to see what the old route was like.

There is a funny story behind this picture. We were driving home from a day with friends on the Larzac plateau, and actually got stopped by one of those temporary "workers at work" stop lights, which seemed very strange early on a Sunday evening, especially as there were no workers in sight.

I rarely take this road either. I noticed the sunset and told my husband to hurry out of the car and try to catch a shot while we were stopped. The colors are real -- nothing was touched up -- and you can click on the photo to enlarge. It is a little blurry, perhaps due to the stress of taking it on the side of the road with the car running, or maybe he just hasn't mastered all of the functions of his great Pentax camera -- he grumbled that he should have changed lenses, but there was no time for that.
