The Bride Wore White

There was quite a wedding taking place in Rodez last week. The bride wore white...

...but her father couldn't hide his disapproval of the match:

He had preferred her angelic but spurned lover who was weeping from a distance:

All this high drama didn't stop the guests from having a good time, though, and this one apparently drank a few too many at the reception!

Come to think of it, I've never seen icicles on gargoyles. We barely got .5 centimeter (if that) of snow during the storm and when it does snow it never lasts. I enjoyed the pictures!

Lovely photos! I remember Rodez - I only went once and had to dash to Monoprix before closing time to buy gloves and a bonnet and scarf because it was absolutely freezing :-)

Yep, and no place in Rodez is colder than the little street that goes up between Monoprix and the cathedral. My first visit to Rodez was a freezing one too...

I wonder if the bride had cold feet? ;)
