Happy Valentine's Day...

...to all of my readers, or course, but especially to a certain "reader" who mainly likes to look at the pictures -- when they're his own!

We actually started celebrating on Friday the 13th because our favorite local restaurant, or at least the one we felt most like going to, is open only one evening a week.

Clearly, we are not superstitious!

Your right; no reasons to be superstitious so I do hope you've had a great Heart Weekend :-)

It was in the Musée d'Art Moderne in the Pompidou Center -- I wrote down what it was somewhere but who knows where. My husband plays the violin and viola, so I thought it was appropriate.

Sorry I haven't dropped by your blog in a while, but I'm kind of off the food blog circuit for the moment. Hope all is well with you!

What kind of restaurant is only open one evening a week?!!

Friday 13th sounds as good a day as any for a romantic celebration :-)

No, I'm not superstitious either, mainly on the basis that if superstitions were right everyone would have the same ones...

Tinsie, the restaurant is also a "salon de thé" plus a lunch place, so they are open all day from about 10 am to 7pm. They open for dinner on Fridays only, but they are open a lot compared to a lot of establishments in France!

To all of the others -- the lucky reader hasn't read this post. I'll have to send him the link!
