Holiday in Waikiki

My "USA" daughter got to take her short February break in Hawaii.

My "France" daughter got to take the regional bus down to Montpellier to spend a weekend with friends. All right, Palavas in February is nice enough, but it's not Waikiki!

I had no days off and neither did mon mari.

Jealous? Are we jealous?

I'm jealous! I never had a February break when I was in high school in the US. We didn't even have MLK day off either, so between January and April, we had no breaks at all!

Well, theirs was very short -- just a Friday and a Monday! And in the US, that constitutes a big holiday! She definitely got the most out of it...

Hey, I just did a tour of Ohio in February looking at colleges. I'd take a Hawaiian vacation any day!

I'm jealous and I'm big enough to admit that ... especially as I have to go back to work today!

Waikiki sun might be just what you miss to survive February.

Of course I'm jealous! It's my dream to go to Hawai ever since I watched Hawai 5-0 as a child...

I'm definitely jealous! Of both your daughters. I've never been to either place.

Hawaii is too warm. France I could live with. As for my beloved Ohio, the snow ain't done yet!

I'm very jealous. This Indiana lake effect snow is too much for me.

sunshine in Hawaii, sounds like bliss! I live an hour from Montpellier, the beach is lovely, but not particularly warm this time of year! Certainly not for shorts, anyway.lol
