Looking up in Toulouse 2

As I was looking up over my cappuccino in this rather grand café on the Place du Capitole, a noisy and rude dispute was going on at the till. Something about the service being slow and a woman missing an appointment over it...the city police eventually showed up, but all was well by then.

Don't you just love to ease-drop on arguments in France? I feel so very bilingual when that happens.
Lovely photo.

Betty C.! I love your photo. The chandelier looks like an upsidedown Christmas tree, doesn't it?

Cops for an argument at the cash register of a café... Wow! Seems like delays are par for the course in café society. As in that's what cafés were made for... dallying...

Amazing!

I also like your "Looking Up" series very much!

Well I am glad you had an excuse to look up because that chandelier was really something. I have a thing for chandeliers...still trying to talk RennyBA into letting me have one in the living room over the stairs.

What a gorgeous chandelier! It does look like an upside down Christmas tree! And how silly of people to get in trouble with police for something simple like that. Oye.
