I went to see Soulages' exhbition whom I had met in Taipei. I didn't know he was born in Rodez. Had a thought for your posts about Rodez ..
Yes, in fact there is (probably) going to be a big Soulages museum in Rodez and he is leaving a lot of his works to the town. It's very controversial though -- not sure if it will get off the ground.

Upmarket McDonald's?
I was thinking-- WOW, and I thought the McDo in Antony was pretty fancy and upscale!!!
Isn't this something? I hadn't been to the Rodez McDonald's much since a big remodel a few years back. It feels more like a US Starbucks now than a fast food joint.
