Actually F.O.T., bars aren't the tradition they once were in France. A lot are closing down. There are a lot of factors: busier schedules, lower purchasing power, more attractive conditions for entertaining and meeting friends at home. It seems to me a lot of students still go and retired people, but my generation seems lost to the habit -- at least en province.

What a cosy, inviting scene. The style of the chairs make it seem homely.
