It was only when I enlarged the picture and stopped looking at the window display (yum!) that I noticed the beautiful wood carving. How old is that, I wonder?
Betty -- It is very, very old and that is why I took the picture. I think it is one of Tour's most historic buildings, and I was a bit taken aback by the tacky display of modern candy inside.
The candies look yummy!You are right about the contrast in the photo. I guess in France, there are so many wonderful and old buildings as opposed to here where they are rare. I love Europe! So rich in history! Thanks for giving me a glimpse of it:)
